Policy Exclusions

Major Exclusion:

Commercial vehicle or vehicle for commercial use;
Accident happened out of HKSAR Region;
Ilegal driving or driving during license suspension;
Racing;
Dangerous driving, drunk driving, drug driving;
Diagnosis by doctor that one is not suitable for driving;
The insured vehicle is being driven by a person who is under 25 years of age or a person who has not held for a period of 2 years a driving license.

This is not a complete list of exclusions. Please read your policy or Certificate of Insurance carefully for a full listing of exclusions. If you have any questions please contact us for details.

Accident and Claims Handling

Refrain from blaming or taking fault: Call the police and stay calm.
If you or other driver or passengers are injured, remain on scene and do not move your car until police arrive.
Without the prior written permission of China Ping An Insurance (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd, you are not allowed to commit any compensation arrangement, otherwise you yourself have to shoulder your responsibility.
Please take note of the below information from other driver, for the claim of third party liability.
1. Name(s) of Car Owner and Driver
2. Contact Tel No. and Address
3. Registration Mark of the vehicle;
4. The name of insurer with policy number;
Report to Police within 24 hours.
if the accident was the fault of another driver, you must report to police within 10 days.
Complete and submit the claim form to us within 21 days from the date of accident, no matter which party should be responsible for the accident.
Without prior consent from CHINA PING AN INSURANCE (HONG KONG) COMPANY LIMITED, please do not carry out any repair work. (only applicable for Comprehensive)
Forward and unanswer all correspondences from Third Party and/or courts/police summons to the Insurers for handling.
